American
Liberty Republic has not and will not endorse any Third District Candidate for three reasons: The candidacies of Jasmine,
Patricia, John, Daniel, Craig, and Nick each bring a unique perspective to the Conservative, Libertarian and Tea Party movement
of Johnson County.
Conservatives are fractioned in Johnson County. The divisions are largely around who supported who
in what race, or who is the purist or who has worked with public-private entities. Having spent time with each of them, ALR
finds each has individual strengths and weakness as is evidenced in any human endeavor or belief. Each is a Conservative commited
to protecting the Constitution; each will be better than what we have had for 12 years.
Patricia Lightner
showed character and strength in the recent debate in response to one question. The question was in effect, would you follow
constituent demands, or what you think is right?
Dennis Moore came under fire because he did not listen to the electorate.
His decision to support health insurance reform was not Constitutionally sound.
Patricia Lighter told the audience
the balance is difficult and she has had to do that during her time in the Kansas Legislature. She represented the will of
her district in a vote over conceal and carry. She listened to her electorate. Her electorate did not represent the will of
the people of Johnson County or the state.
Her courage was in admitting she learned from this and another issue in
maintaining the balance between what is right, what is Constitutional, and what the electorate wants. Our politicians must
make their decisions based upon what is right, what is Constitutional and what is right over partisan politics and electorate
demands.
ALR is certain each of the candidates above will maintain open doors to the people, but will make decisions
based upon the rule of law (Constitution). The Tea Party movement demands this honesty from our representatives.
What is this? Dennis Moore replaced by his wife? Really?
What is this? It smells of an article written in the American
Liberty Republic several months ago. Will the Third District really create an electoral aristocracy? Is this the Peoples seat
or a family heirloom?
