When government officials tell us terrorists and terrorism is not a threat, they are saying they are more afraid of the masses
ALR will look at the lessons that can be learned from paris
Understand, there was no specific and credible threat against the sporting event or cafes in Paris, FR prior to the attack.
There never is.
On the morning news 11/19/2015 on ABC, the former Clinton aid and governor said there was no credible threat against Times Square and New York.
Government and news media continually report there are no specific and credible threats for two reasons. They will never take personal responsibility for their positions.
Before noon, the Islamic State released a new propaganda video threatening attacks on New York City, city officials confirmed Thursday.
The authenticity of the video has not been verified New York officials who have said there are not any specific threats against the city.
YET: The video showed images of bombs and suicide bombers getting ready for an attack, as well as street scenes, including Herald Square and Times Square.
If you are killed, take solace in the fact they may shine some colored lights in solidarity. They will not attend your funeral. They will not change their political propaganda.
First, when the population experiences fear, they become independent and tend to act in their individual best interests.
Second, when the government looses the confidence and trust of the masses, political power is lost through the political process, civil disobedience, or revolt.
DO NOT DEPEND ON GOVERNMENT ASSESSMENTS OR MEDIA REPORTS THERE ARE NO CREDIBLE THREATS.
These are the same people that cannot predict the weather with any degree of accuracy and have no credible evidence for global warming or cooling.
These are the same people that let 3,700 gang members run the streets in Kansas City while trying to take the personal protection means from legal and responsible citizens.
Threats unreported by the government
Examine each picture. The weapon is an illegally obtained, fully automatic, AK 47 military assault rifle. Note, No One Inside Was Killed or Wounded.
The two most common fully automatic assault rifles in the world are the Russian AK-47 and the American M16. These Cold War era rifles are not the civilian look alike models purchased in the United States (AR 15)
The AK-47 was finalized, adopted and entered widespread service in the Soviet army in the early 1950s. Its firepower, ease of use, low production costs, and reliability were perfectly suited for the Red Army's new mobile warfare doctrines. More AK-type weapons have been produced than all other assault rifles combined.
The M16 entered U.S. service in the mid-1960s. The M16 is the longest continuously serving rifle in American military history.
The semi-automatic sporting replicas are suitable for sports shooting over 50 yards, but have limited personal defense capabilities due to rate of fire and size.
How to carry
A word about CCW bags
I personally use the bag on the lower left. The strap has a steel cord and is long enough to go across my large torso. It serves two purposes, the CCW and I have a tendency to misplace little things.
The bags come in several sizes, as shown. The LC9 fits in each of the bags to the right.
If you are interested in the bags, go to the Facebook Page.
We will give you all the information on any CCW bag and a special discount. Every purchase includes a free NRA membership.

How to survive, One perspective
Now, start the video.
There are people running into the cafe for protection. One is busy texting and calling on a cell.
First, find cover. get behind something that will stop a bullet. Concealment will hide you, but not protect you. Get down and do not move. A wall between potential target (you) and the assailant (perp, or threat) is preferred, in a prone position.
Movement draws attention. It is a predator thing. The person that flops on the floor is a good initial response, however, the person is still exposed and has to move. The person behind the counter moves to the right.
If armed, the person on the wall inside the door on the right is in a good defensive position. The attacker would have to enter then swing the rifle to the left. If the person is unarmed, as was the case, it becomes a matter of chance. A hand to hand attack might be successful depending on training and practice.
My first choice is a .45 caliber pistol. Personally, I like the Smith & Wesson MP 45 shown on the right. The .45 and S&W are proven reliable. It is a large semiautomatic pistol. See review on NRA Page.
I have fired about 10,000 rounds through the M9 version of the M92. Because of muscle memory, tactical training and range practice, this is my go to personal protection weapon. As accurate as the S&W, it has less noise and less recoil.
The Ruger LC9 is great for CCW. Usually, the MP 45 and M9 are carried in a special bag, or on a belt under a vest or jacket.
The LC 9 fits in a pocket or on a belt, or inside the belt.
